She was and still is a big inspiration in my life and how I see the world around me.
Her unique artistic vision and technical approach to her art shaped every thing around her from the furniture she designed and hand painted to the clothes she designed and hand made.
Russa always displayed culture, class and calm in her creative environment even though much of her art was created for the demanding and some times superficial thankless commercial art world. Regardless Russa was able to be a successful business savvy working artist who also nurtured other creative souls.
I don't think there is a person that knew her that she didn't touch in a profound way.
My hope is that her art will continue to inspire and bring joy to others.
